One of the key product-related barriers to adherence is volume.

Danone Research & Innovation continues to invest in innovative solutions that optimise patient adherence, including the ability to deliver medical nutrition containing the same optimal nutritional values in around 50% of the original volume. Additionally, we invite older people, dietitians and other healthcare professionals to give early feedback on different flavours in development. Just two examples out of many as in the end optimising patient adherence starts with understanding the patient needs, drivers and barriers.
