Thursday April 12, Prof Ruurd van Elburg, Preterm director Danone Research & Innovation Utrecht and Professor of Early Life Nutrition Emma Children’s Hospital AMC Amsterdam, The Netherlands will present “The role of prebiotics and probiotics on microbiome and brain development in newborns during Session 3: Probiotics in preterm and newborn. During his talk he will highlight the latest science on prebiotics and postbiotics in infant nutrition and present new data on the influence on gut and brain.
Symposium on postbiotics

This 4th Edition of “Prebiotics and Probiotics in Pediatrics” will take place April 12-14, 2018, in Bari, Italy. The meeting focuses on the most updated basic and clinical research on prebiotics and probiotics in infancy. The three-day meeting will cover the major novelties in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Obesity, Allergy, Nephrology, Neonatology and on Gut-Brain Communication.
