The Nutricia Metabolics Research Fund will again make €150,000 available in 2019 to encourage nutrition and/or dietary management-related research in inborn errors of metabolism (IEM).
The announcement was made during the Dietary Management of Inherited Metabolic Disorders (DMIMD) conference in London 4 and 5 April.
All healthcare professionals active in the field of IEM are eligible to apply to the Fund. A Scientific Advisory Board composed of a group of senior metabolic experts will review and score the submissions against set criteria.
Nutricia established the Fund in 2016. In the last 3 years we have supported 20 proposals and are delighted to continue to support research for a 4th year.
