This article covers an open, prospective, parallel study that investigates the efficacy, safety and tolerance of a paediatric sip feed with fibre vs. an equivalent sip feed without fibre. The study indicates that the group of children receiving a sip feed with fibre had a higher fibre intake and less laxative use than in the other sip feed group.
