The ongoing study aims to critically reviewing evidence on the suitability of human milk processing techniques other than holder pasteurisation, both thermal and non-thermal, to ensure safety of human donor milk, and observes the effects of these techniques on biologically active donor milk components. The review compared the results on the effect of microbiological, biochemical and nutritive components of human milk for its potential use in human milk banks.
