This study in non-malnourished older adults with and without sarcopenia showed that sarcopenia had a substantial impact on self-reported quality of life and on the level of physical activity. Biochemical nutrient concentrations and dietary intakes differed between the two groups, and may be related to the observed differences in muscle mass, strength and function.
