With inauguration of the new Danone Research & Innovation Paris Saclay center in France in 2023 Danone proudly returns to the underlying roots of its history and mission: to build the future of ingredients, ferments, habits and sustainable packaging and manufacturing.
Paris Saclay Global Research & Innovation Center Daniel Carasso is Danone’s largest global research center. It is a place for collaboration, innovation and invention. Paris Saclay was built to invent the future of food. It Is a place where globally reputed researchers will help develop tomorrow’s dairy, plant-based and mineral water products. The building is equipped with research labs, trial labs, and pilot facilities to make prototypes of our concepts.
The new center houses more than 550 passionate research staff, including world-class biotech researchers, experts in consumer and social sciences, product design, and fermentation, nutrition, and health professionals.
Paris-Saclay was not selected by chance: 20 years ago, Danone was one of the first companies to invest in the Saclay business park when it built its first international research center- the Daniel Carasso center. As one of the world’s eight biggest innovation clusters, Paris Saclay will soon attract one third of research and innovation investment in France
